Brandon Guido - Class Of ’19
Waubonsie Valley - Safety, RB
Tell us about your off-season?
My summer’s been pretty much non-stop with Boom Nationals, the start of Waubonsie’s camp, Waubonsie’s Summer Baseball & my ESP Travel team. It’s been crazy, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. The weekend before the 4th of July we played 9 7v7 games in the Red Grange Classic getting to the semi’s followed by 8 tournament baseball games and a Prep Baseball Report 16U Championship.
What college camps did you attend this summer?
I attended 2 of the North Central College Satellite Camps with Minnesota & Western Michigan, Western Michigan’s camp, and Rise & Fire.
What colleges have shown interest in you?
Several schools, but only high level interest to date.
What colleges are you interested in?
Dream schools include Minnesota and Western Michigan, but, I am open to schools and levels and will give serious consideration to each school that shows interest in me. I’m just looking for the right fit, athletically and academically.
What are your goals going into the season?
I have several team goals for the season including a Dupage Valley Conference championship as well as a win at Neuqua Valley. With Coach Murphy’s guidance, we believe we can make a long run in the playoffs and be a state contending team. For me personally, I have many goals I want to accomplish this season on offense and in my new role at Safety, but I’m just really excited about our team’s chances in our last year of the DVC.
